Biography

Roger C. Theobald, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA

Dr. Theobald grew up in the warm climate of Southern Utah, the 5th in a family with 7 children.  After graduating from Dixie College,  he transferred to Utah State University to complete his education.  He graduated with honors from Utah State University in 2000 with his Masters degree in Communicative Disorders.

Following graduation, Dr. Theobald moved to the Las Vegas valley, where he obtained employment  in a fast-paced Ear, Nose and Throat office.  While still employed full time, Dr. Theobald matriculated to A.T. Stills University,  Arizona School of Health Sciences - where he completed his Doctor of Audiology training in 2008; maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Dr. Theobald is a nationally-certified and Nevada state-licensed audiologist with professional associations including the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech, Language and Hearing Association. He has 14 years of audiological experience serving all populations, ranging in age from infants to geriatrics.  Dr. Theobald enjoys working in diagnostic Audiology and particularly appreciates the opportunity to help his patients improve their health and functionality.

Richard L. Luekenga, Au.D, CCC-A, F-AAA

Dr. Luekenga is also a long-time Utah resident.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University before seeking his Doctor of Audiology from the prestigious University of Louisville, School of Medicine.  After enhancing his clinical skills through experience at Veterans Administration Hospital, the Hiezer Hearing Institute and Bountiful Hearing Center; Dr. Luekenga founded our sister company, Hearing and Balance Doctors of Utah; which currently has 4 locations throughout the state.

Dr. Luekenga is a nationally-certified and state-licensed audiologist with professional associations including the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.  He is passionate about hearing and is well versed in the advances of hearing aid technology.  He is equally as passionate about helping patients that feel off balance or dizzy.

Patient care is his top priority, and he works in conjunction with physicians and therapists who specialize in disorders and diseases of the ear in order to meet the goal of optimal patient care.
